Promoting Preventive Health Awareness
On World Cancer Day, the CHIP-SVL team organized vital awareness sessions at Government Junior College, Ranasthalam, and AP Model School in Tamada Village. The initiative focused on reducing the community cancer burden through:
- Educating on common causes and risk factors of cancer
- Identifying symptoms of oral, breast, liver, and stomach cancers
- Emphasizing the life-saving importance of early detection
- Guiding participants toward designated health facilities for screening
By fostering preventive behavior and encouraging timely medical referrals, the program empowered students and community members with the knowledge to seek diagnosis and evaluation early.
